Wrestle

Last Night from the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York, AEW X NJPW Presented their annual "Forbidden Door" PPV which was a stacked but elongated card, to say the least. We saw many surprises throughout the night including the return of Dr. Britt Baker DMD, Mercedes Mone becoming a double champ, and Jack Perry becoming the new TNT Champion. Amongst all of that, AEW Announced that next year on January 5th, AEW will join forces with NJPW, CMLL, ROH, & STARDOM to present "Wrestle Dynasty" You can see the official announcement that was made on New Japan Twitter last night below.

Wrestle Dynasty will take the place of Wrestle Kingdom Night 2, so instead we will get Wrestle Kingdom on January 4th, and Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th, both events, of course, will be presented from the prestigious Tokyo, Dome. This will also be AEW's first official time heading to Japan for a live event which leads to the question, are they expanding to a more international market or at least trying to?
