Evo Japan DLC aftermath - Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 year one DLC roadmaps confirmed

In case you missed it depending on if you stayed up for the entire Evo  Japan tournaments over the weekend Bandai Namco and Capcom made a few massive announcements about their major games. Capcom when their final first-year DLC character will be out for Street Fighter 6. So, if you paid for either the deluxe or ultimate editions of the game the final piece of that content is coming out. Akuma will be available for full release on May 19th for the character pass an early release or May 22nd for individual release. 




In contrast, Bendai Namco, AKA Harada and Michael Murphy, dropped the details, outside of final two characters, of the year one pass. Over the next month there will be the first major balance patch to hit Tekken 8.  Over the summer, there will be a new/ returning stage Seaside Resort from Tekken 7 coming back to the game with a photo mode. The big year l one update will be a story mode expansion coming this fall. They are also adding online ghost battles.




All of those for Tekken 8 will be updates, however, they also announced that Lidia is coming back as the second year one DLC character.
