Lexis King was advertised for this week’s episode of NXT television to speak on a few things and as it turns out, he wanted to reveal the rules for his Heritage Cup would be changing. They would no longer be doing rounds, with cornermen, and any silly gimmicks. Instead, it would be one fall to a finish like any normal championship match.
Then, surprise, Fandango made his return to WWE NXT.
Or, rather, JDC.
Indeed, the artist formerly known as Fandango, using the music he did while he was under the WWE umbrella, came out dancing to a huge ovation from the Performance Center faithful. He goes by Johnny “Dango” Curtis now in TNA, or JDC for short. And because of the agreement between the two companies, he’s come over to challenge King for his Heritage Cup championship.
The match will go down next week, as per NXT General Manager Ava.
