So.......we can just complain to get a title shot now??

I'm sorry but something had to be said about this and well....We can't wait until our next episode so here we go! This past Saturday night on AEW Collision, after his match against Lio Rush, Roderick Strong approached Tony Khan backstage. He said that he is neckstrong just like the CEO and said Will Ospreay didn't deserve the #1 contender spot and it should be him heading to forbidden door as the AEW World Champion. Tony Khan stated he pleaded a "good case" and now has a title shot against Swerve Strickland on this Wednesday's episode of Dynamite from Denver, Colorado. Before we get into our full blown rant, you can see the stupidity below.

So umm here's our problem right....AEW just brought back the ranking system to help assist with creating storylines for title feuds as well as make the championship opportunities feel "Earned" but yet, Roderick basically walked to the back, pulled a Karen, and was immediately handed a title opportunity? This makes absolutely no sense for one and this kind of defeats the purpose of the #1 contender gauntlet that took place last week. Trust this isn't just a problem with AEW, we'll have our words with you this week WWE.....Bayley vs Piper? We understand its in Piper's home country but come on....at least have some type of story where she EARNED the title shot. Too many promotions nowadays are just handing out title opportunities instead of putting some type of meaning behind the feud.
