One of the benefits of having a Hall of Fame with no rules is that you can do whatever you want with it, especially if you need to fill out a certain number of inductees or need a new reason to feature previous inductees again.
With that in mind, WWE is trying something new this year by inducting the Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin “I Quit” match from WrestleMania 13 into this year’s Hall of Fame. This entry type falls into the new “WWE Immortal Moment” category.
Check out the following WWE Hall Of Fame video package for a trip down memory lane.
Austin vs. Hart included the iconic moment where blood was dripping down Stone Cold’s face as he refused to give up when locked in Bret’s sharpshooter. The post-match angle featured a double heel turn that was a pivotal moment in the careers of both stars.
Austin vs. Hart will be honored along with fellow 2025 inductees Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Michelle McCool, Lex Luger, and The Natural Disasters on the Friday before WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. The ceremony is set for April 18 at 10 p.m. Eastern.
