As of March 4th, 2024, WWE announced via the Associated Press, that Paul Heyman will finally take his place in the WWE Hall of Fame. Despite what you think of his current role as the Wiseman of the bloodline, he truly is a one-of-a-kind influence in the landscape of professional wrestling.

In a career spanning four decades, Heyman’s done everything there is except wrestle full time. From the WWWF in the 1980s to being the most consistent piece of The Bloodline in the WWE his impact has been felt throughout the entire genre of entertainment.

Some of the most memorable moments in the last decade, including the end of the streak, are only enhanced by his mannerisms and involvement. He’s represented some of the most polarizing figures in the entire industry, (Brock Lesnar, Mick Foley, Stone Cold Stone Cold, CM Punk, Roman Reigns and more).

Philadelphia is the perfect place to induct him as that was the backdrop to where he and countless others changed the wrestling landscape forever, with ECW.

As a promo, he is one of the few individuals that can get you to feel a vast array of emotions and get you to flip almost immediately to another with one word or facial expression. People have put him on their Mount Rushmore of talkers it’s very easy to see why.
